- Produced in the heart of the Devon countryside, our soft set honey is full of the flavours of the fields and hedgerows. As our honey is unpasteurised, cold extracted and unblended, it retains all of its natural taste and all of the properties that make honey a superfood. Use this honey for spreading or as a glaze or marinade in cooking to provide a natural, but subtly floral, sweetness. Crumpets, croissants and crusty bread all demand a good dollop of Stone’s soft set!
What the Great Taste Judges had to say:
This heavily perfumed honey has a lovely, satisfying, pale, glossy appeal. It has sandalwood notes, a high level of florality and a good length of flavour.
A lovely honey with some wonderful floral notes. The texture is beautifully creamy and the finish clean, long and sweet with nuances of beeswax. This has a lovely integrity and has a flavour that is full of the hive.
First time buyer from this company, and I must say what a delight is was to find this site.
I used to get my Honey from my Local Market (Barnstaple North Devon) but due to being disabled I find it hard to get out, I bought 1 jar of the Pure Devon Runny Honey and 1 jar of the Pure Devon Soft Set Honey, and they are both deleiouse, very happy with my purchase,
Shipping was very good, and the quility of service was fantastic.
I would highly recomend this company to others, and I will be back when I need more Honey.
Tasty, smooth we always buy from Stones. Fast efficient delivery. Well done Stones .
Very good honey. Out of all the honeys we have tried this set ho,ney is the best we have found for a long time. We love the firm fudgy consistency and the excellent flavour,
We first found it by chance at the farm near Stokenham by Torcross.
